The Botox Process
Step 1
We recommend visiting the BeachGlo office for a consultation to get Botox in Nags Head. During your consultation, we can answer any questions, examine your areas of concern, and discuss what you want to achieve with this treatment. We will devise an injection strategy once we have a complete picture of what you are looking for.
Step 2
Often, there is time to get your injections done on the same day as your consultation. The process is usually quick enough that it can be performed over a lunch break. We will apply a numbing agent as we do for all injectable procedures, then mark out the areas you would like to target with injections. Once your injections are done, you can get back to your day.
Step 3
We will provide aftercare instructions for your procedure. Botox takes about 7 to 10 days to start working completely within the treated area, after which you will see a reduction in wrinkles and folds when you make facial expressions. You may have some soreness and redness after your injections, which will go away in a day or two.
